A fabulous antique marble mortar. A wonderful decorative item for your kitchen shelving or kitchen island or arranged as part of a display on a sideboard or console table.

Stone mortars are very collectable and look fabulous simply left empty or planted with alpine plants.

This mortar is rustic with small imperfections but still fully functional. The original pestle has become mislaid somewhere along the way unfortunately - however, the mortar is beautiful in its own right
