This age-old practice has been passed down for generations and continues to be used today in China. These particular historic pots have been enhanced as they were submerged in a shipwreck for over 200 years and are steeped in history and tradition.

The surfaces of the pot are encrusted with marine encrustations and evidence of sea flora and fauna.
